This Guy and His Television Network Got To Be Kidding….

The question is how come it took the NBC Television Network and its Dateline Host, Stone Phillips, so long to discover that Cambodia is one large whorehouse?

This past week they aired a show about the use of little girls as prostitutes in Cambodia.  It was presented as if it was some new big deal.  Well, if NBC and Stone think it is some new big deal, they just don’t realize that it is very old news.

It exists in Cambodia because it is condoned by that government which could stamp it out in a New York minute if it wanted to stamp it out.  As far as its Tourist Board is concerned, it is part of their tourist attraction.

And it certainly couldn’t exist if it wasn’t condoned by major American Corporations that do everything from trading with Cambodia to arranging travel junkets for men so that they can get into bed with a fourteen year old girl, or younger.

How come Stone didn’t interview the folks at General Electric to ask them why they do business with Cambodia?  NBC is owned by General Electric so it would not have been hard to just ring up the CEO and do a little talk with him.

He could have also asked Nike, the Gap, Levi Strauss and Sears Roebuck.

He could have also contacted American Airlines, Delta, United Airlines and Continental who provide travel arrangements for folks looking to do sex with a kid.

He could have also contacted the International Labor Organization, a part of the United Nations, which said in a recent report, there is no forced labor, child labor or discrimination at 61 factories that were visited in Cambodia.  Perhaps, the kiddy brothels don’t count.

He could have also read many American publications, which in their travel sections, give glowing reports about travel to Cambodia.  Here is what the New York Times had to say about Cambodia:

“We spent the entire next day on the beach, relaxing under thatch umbrellas and devouring paperbacks.  Friendly vendors walked along selling sliced pineapple….”

Did the writer of that Cambodia-just-glows article know that while he was “relaxing,” little children just down the road were being made to do oral sex with American adults?

NBC and Stone Phillips are worse than whores.  They are pimps for Cambodia.  Presenting that “expose” probably convinced the perverts who were watching it, that it is time for a little vacation in Cambodia.

And by the way, NBC and Stone Phillips are headquartered in New York City.  If Stone cares to find out about it, child sex is a booming business in the Big Apple.

Several prime locations are just a short walk from the NBC headquarters.  He can find all the young girls, and boys for that matter, that he might like to interview.

The United States Government is funding a program that is giving New York City $4 million to try and put a stop to this situation.

The folks who produced the Cambodia show weren’t concerned with what is happening in their own backyard.  We would be curious to see the expense account for that Dateline Show.

We are sure it cost a bundle and a good time was had by all.  Probably in more ways than you can imagine.
