****TWO WARS ARE BETTER THAN ONE…. some people die, some people make profits with u.s. army contracts. WAR

****THE GABBY CABBY FIELD OFFICE IN IRAQ (the largest staff of any media office in the middle east)….this month's exclusive true tale is that we have closed the office. all correspondents are safely out. since their telephone calls and email are no longer being tapped by the rumsfeld thugs, we now know the following:

** (1) the united states is losing the war and troops are being killed needlessly. (2) the corruption of the american civilian contractors is unbelievable. (3) troops need to have the folks back home send equipment that should be given out but is not (see picture below of a package that was ordered from an army surplus store here in the states for troops). (4) the average soldier thinks his/her military leader in iraq is psychotic. (5) very few soldiers are able to vote in the elections by absentee ballot. (6) the generals who are conducting this war are in florida and that is where they are having their backyard barbecues while they send commands to american soldiers who are getting killed.

****YOU WOULD NOT WANT TO BE A TURKEY IN THE UNITED STATES THIS MONTH….actually very few people buy a turkey. everyone seems to get one for free due to some promotion or other. the funniest thanksgiving day taxi story is about the man and woman who argued about who left the turkey at home whilst they were being driven to mother’s house. you can hear it on your local radio station. TURKEY

****WHO WANTS TO RUN AROUND THE CITY IN THEIR UNDERWEAR?....well, maybe not their underwear, but certainly many wear short pants. november is the month of the famous new york city marathon and it is quite a true tale about how the city officials in the beginning many years ago did everything they could to destroy it. they couldn’t do that so they decided to do the next best thing, keep the handicapped out of it and make it a professional run so money could be made. they couldn’t keep the handicapped out, but they sure made it the ultimate money maker. RUN

****THE NEW YORK CITY TRAFFIC DEPARTMENT IS WAITING TO CATCH YOU SLEEPING….some new operations to bleed the drivers dry. giving tickets to united parcel service trucks, fedex trucks and other folks who are making needed deliveries at holiday time. the traffic people are also giving cars that are clearly marked “handicapped” if they even stop to pick up an elderly person. if you fall asleep at the wheel while parked, the traffic thug will sneak up to your car and put a ticket on it. it seems that it is against the law to sleep in a car even if it is a nap during the day and the driver wakes up and finds that the nap cost $115. JERKS

****HOW SWEET A NYC PRISON CAN BE….the new york city correction department announces that it is going to build a mcdonald’s on ricers prison island. will they deliver to the cells? maybe crime does pay when you add in the sports facilities, the movies, the television and other such amenities as well as a great view of manhattan. SLAMMER

****ONCE AGAIN THE NEW YORK TAXI COMMISSION CONS THE PUBLIC INTO THINKING THAT THE DRIVERS ARE ABOUT TO GET MORE MONEY….they are going to raise the fare about one dollar a ride, but even that chump change will never get to the driver. here is the real scoop. the garages will just charge the drivers (mostly immigrants hardly surviving financially) more money for their daily leasing of the taxis. for the full true tale as to how the taxi industry in the big apple got so corrupt, listen to this saga on your local radio station. ****THE NEW YORK CITY PUBLIC LIBRARY SYSTEM HAS A WAY TO KEEP THEIR TOILETS SECURE….they have started attaching the restroom keys to any heavy object they can find to deter the key keepers. this photo shows a typical hookup taken on the floor of a bathroom which was kind of icky poo. by the way, the new york city public library system spends a fortune on “capital expenses” and big salaries for the bosses while they continue to cut down on the hours that the neighborhood branches are open. ****IF YOU MISSED THE HALLOWEEN TRUE TALES, HERE THEY ARE….they were on your local radio station last month. SCARY

****OLD TIME RADIO (shows you might be too young to remember.) he had wonderful red hair and he always laughed at his own jokes. THE PAST

****THE SNEAKY CAMERA (the hidden camera)….a growing collection of new yorkers are unaware that they are being watched by a certain taxi driver. new ones are added from time to time. take a peep at SNEAKY

****YENTA YACK FROM THE BACK OF THE HACK (what they are talking about in the yellow mobile conveyance lounge)….in this political month, passengers are asked to name one new york city politician that they respected. we are still waiting for a positive answer. since very few people in new york city actually vote, what would you expect? ELECT

****QUIET PLEASE, THIS IS THE LIBRARY (get away from the din of life)….a murder in the city casts a peculiar spell, a mixture of horror, fascination and relief. one more member of the herd has been picked off, but it was somebody else who attracted the invisible, anonymous hand that could strike anyone at any time. when the victim is a beautiful woman, sex enters the equation, and you have front-page news. “Mary Rogers, Edgar Allan Poe And the Invention of Murder.” written by daniel stashower. published by dutton.

****THE STORY BEHIND THE STORY (what the media didn't tell you)....cnn ran some footage of terrorist snipers killing american soldiers from the sniper’s point of view. it was ghastly that this was done and it is even more ghastly to know that cnn paid for the footage. the cnn bum who did the video should be made to face the parents of the american soldiers that were gunned down.

****THE EARL THEATER (it used to be on 161st street in the bronx. new york city has lots of rich people, but it has many more people living in slums thanks to the inaction of the city government and crooked landlords. SLUM
