****IT WAS A TERRIBLE SIGHT TO SEE THAT FIRST DAY….five years ago, just how
was that day for a new york city taxi driver just finishing his
night shift?
****DID YOU EVER GET TO SEE THE PICTURES OF THE PEOPLE WHO JUMPED and the
ones crushed in subway cars and the ones burnt beyond recognition and the
thousands of children who were not picked up from school that day? for some
reason, the new york times and the washington post and reuters
and the associated press don’t want to offend you so instead they show
pictures of people illegally killed by deranged united states soldiers.
****SOON AFTER 911 PRESIDENT GEORGE BUSH GAVE A SPEECH ABOUT HOW WE WOULD
ALL PULL TOGETHER IN THIS WAR AGAINST TERRORISM….which turned out to be a
great deal of bullshit.
****THE STORY BEHIND THE STORY….
**the majesty of the
two buildings, BUT it turns out they were not built to code.
**the bravery of the
rescue workers, BUT what about all the looting?
**the job of cleaning
the destruction, BUT how about the steel that was stolen?
**the wonderful
charitable contributions, BUT the millions of dollars that are missing.
**the united states
government gave and gave, BUT it was never accounted for properly.
**the commuter boats
that took people to safery, BUT over charged the
city.
**the young people
joined the u.s. army, BUT the recruiters lowered the standards.
**the hours worked by
the police and firemen, BUT it was overtime and pension points.
**the plan to build a
new world trade center, BUT five years later and it still isn’t done.
**the insurance
companies have still not paid many people.
**the telephone company
turned off service for unemployed folks who did not pay their bills. so did
the electric company.
**the city was in
mourning, BUT lots of folks just enjoyed and sipped white wine.
**people sold and still
sell souvenir crap at the wtc site and the city
does nothing to stop it.
**giuliani’s
police commissioner got an apartment over looking the site and had his
women come and spend the night. his wife didn’t know about this until now.
**new york city taxi
drivers gouged in everyway they could.
****OLD TIME RADIO (shows
you might be too young to remember)….”luigi” was
a fun show about an italian who came to the
united states. it would not be considered politically correct today. THE PAST
****THE SNEAKY CAMERA
(the hidden camera)….a growing collection of new yorkers
are unaware that they are being watched by a certain taxi driver. new ones
are added from time to time. take a peep at SNEAKY
****THE EARL THEATER (it used to be on 161st street in the bronx. new york city has lots of rich people, but it
has many more people living in slums thanks to the inaction of the city
government and crooked landlords. SLUM
