****NEW YORK CITY SHOWCASE (DESIGNER LINE OF CLOTHING)….see it all at SWELL

****TWO WARS ARE BETTER THAN ONE…. some people die, some people make profits with u.s. army contracts. WAR

****THE GABBY CABBY FIELD OFFICE IN IRAQ (the largest staff of any media office in the middle east)….this week's exclusive true tale is that one of the most dangerous jobs in the
united states army is being a bomb handler. they have to know how to make one, to be able to disarm one, and it takes nerves of steel. by the way, there is not one single bomb handler in the entire united states army who is a muslim.

****KOFI FIDDLES AS THE WORLD BURNS….the united nations closed down this past weekend as it always does on weekends whether or not people are starving or wars are flaming. the delegates and office personnel were off to their weekend homes out on long island. tourists came as they usually do because there are foods to buy, souvenirs to buy and tours to buy. it is a regular disney world. can you imagine announcing on friday that a war will be ended on monday? that is exactly what happened, so for weekend people had to die in israel and lebanon. business people in new york city have learned also, that financial credit is never extended to anyone who works for the united nations. it is cash in advance, thank you.

****DONALD RUMSFELD IS THE DEFENDANT (franklin v. rumsfeld, 06 Civ. 4579)….united states federal court southern district of new york….my hearing in federal court is this week. i have been abused by the court and the united states attorney in ways that they used to do it during the vietnam era and i haven’t even got to the hearing yet.

****A NEW TWIST IN THE GIVING OUT TRAFFIC TICKETS GAME IN THE BIG APPLE….is for the traffic enforcement officer to pull up along side parked cars and watch all the parking meters on that block. as soon as a meter expires, a ticket is given out, which in manhattan can be $115.

****the undercover kitty who helped nab an allegedly bogus veterinarian for the brooklyn district attorney office earlier this year was fatally run down in traffic after wandering out of his owner's home. the question being asked is, was it a mob hit?

****the
new york yankees will break ground this week for their new ballpark. the team has played at yankee stadium since 1923. it hopes to move to the new 53,000-seat ballpark for the 2009 season, and the new stadium is projected to cost at least $800 million. here is our prediction. this will turn out to be the greatest financial swindle in the history of new york city.

****a cabby returned $13,000 in jewelry to a woman from
florida who left it in his taxi's back seat. the passenger had saved the taxi receipt as a souvenir of her first trip to new york which is why she could find the driver. how come the question was not asked about whether or not the lady would have gotten her jewelry back if she had not taken the receipt with the cab’s number on it?

****new york city fire commissioner nicholas scoppetta was "visibly upset" when told that the bloomberg administration had decided that prospective firefighters would no longer be required to have some college credits. scoppetta was "livid to no end" that a consultant hired by the city had suggested lowering entry requirements to attract more minority applicants to the mostly white fdny. is this an implication that blacks and hispanics and women are too stupid to be new york city fire fighters?

****OLD TIME RADIO (shows you might be too young to remember)….”luigi” was a fun show about an italian who came to the united states. it would not be considered politically correct today. THE PAST

****THE SNEAKY CAMERA (the hidden camera)….a growing collection of new yorkers are unaware that they are being watched by a certain taxi driver. new ones are added from time to time. take a peep at SNEAKY

****YENTA YACK FROM THE BACK OF THE HACK (what they are talking about in the yellow mobile conveyance lounge)….as would be expected, the number one topic of conversation in all the taxis was the problems at the airports. the consensus was the delays were livable and necessary if only the airline personnel and transportation security people were not so abusive and nasty, but then again, that is always the number one complaint we get from riders.

****QUIET PLEASE, THIS IS THE LIBRARY (get away from the din of life)…. we are coming up to september 11th and that is why there is an increase in movies and books. take a read at “the looming tower” by lawrence wright and published by alfred a. knopf. it gives family and history background about the murderers who grabbed the airplanes.

****THE STORY BEHIND THE STORY (what the media doesn’t tell you)....that yale university the big deal “liberal” university really screws the city that it is in. if yale was a profit making business (which it really is) its taxes would be much more. for a bunch of “smart” people, they are pretty stupid to let the world see just how little money they do give to new haven connecticut.

****THE EARL THEATER (it used to be on 161st street in the bronx. new york city has lots of rich people, but it has many more people living in slums thanks to the inaction of the city government and crooked landlords. SLUM

(please note: when playing a movie on your computer, you should diminish the size of the frame. if you have a problem, please contact us.

**AND THAT NEAT MOVIE HOUSE ALWAYS SHOWED A DOUBLE FEATURE AND HERE WE ARE WITH A SECOND FLICK. this is a wonderful trip around new york city in the famous yellow mobile conveyance lounge. HONK HONK

****THE HEY ABBOTT AWARD (an epistle about life).... goes to the two chairmen of the 9/11 commission who say in a new book they were intimidated by pro-rudy new yorkers from grilling rudy giuliani on the city's organizational failures and called it the "low point" of their probe. thomas kean and lee hamilton (two schmucks) state in "without precedent" that they let the former mayor off the hook.

****STOP THE MUSIC (do you know what tv show this theme came from?)….this sheriff had a deputy who had a limp. TV

****THE MOST WANTED TOUR IN THE BIG APPLE…. here are some happy visitors. you too can have a tour by going to TOUR INFO

**to listen to what other happy tourists had to say about the tour, just go AUDIO

**to see some additional happy tourists perform in short video productions go VIDEO

**to hear broadcast spots about some of the places where folks are taken to, listen to these commercials that were created for a "visit new york city promotion" at SPOTS

****CELEBRITY SIGHTING (media adulation)….if the real cops were like jesse l. martin, things would be a great deal better on the streets of
new york city. STAR

****JOKE DU JOUR (told to me by the passengers)….this week the punch line is “if the ice cream had not come along, he would still be alive.”
