****JASON BLAIR AWARD (for the worst print journalism last week)….the new york post did not question why the judge in a murder trial did not allow a mention of the fact that the victim was a united states army soldier on home leave from iraq. was the judge concerned that the defendant would be discriminated against by the jury if that fact be known? simple fact was that the man who was murdered was a brave soldier and the judge took that away from him.
