EPISTLE ****TAKE A HIKE (discovering where the famous and infamous spots are) …. frank woolworth lived at 990 fifth avenue at 80th street. he owned the stores. FIVE AND DIME ****CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE BIZARRE (hard to believe)....the boss of the new york city tourist board who was appointed to that post by rudy giuliani, to whom she was a mistress, now wants more bars in the city. she feels there isn’t enough booze drinking going on. she never complained about the amount of sex going on.
****POSSIBILITIES (could it not be?)....the new york city police are more interested in chasing people for sitting on the sidewalk than they are in chasing criminals. in a new crack down, they take away chairs and tell the good folks that they are blocking the sidewalk. they even do it to the handicapped, but so far they have not taken any wheel chairs…yet.
****STOP THE MUSIC (do you know what tv show this theme came from?)….everyone just hoped that they too could have their own witch living in their house. this particular witch was the kind that made you drool. TV ****JASON BLAIR AWARD (for the worst print journalism last week)….to the new york times who published in their news section a picture of the only child in the sudan who is not starving. maybe that is because the new york times has accepted millions of dollars worth of pro-sudan advertising from the sudan government.
****AMMA'S KITCHEN (a recipe)….introduce this chicken to some nice pasta. this is what you would find cooking in a nyc home)…. GOOD EATS
