****JASON BLAIR AWARD (for the worst journalism during the previous week)….newspaper reports about the funeral for a state trooper pursuing a robbery suspect neglected to mention that the cops attending were getting paid for the day. come to think of it, that never is mentioned by the media. what would be the attendance if the cops didn’t get paid for it?
