****TENSION RISES IN NEW YORK CITY AS WE EXPECT SHORTER PEOPLE TO START RIOTING BECAUSE OF THE NEW YORK POST NEWSPAPER COVERAGE…not only are the christian and jewish and buddhist and hindu shorter people angry about the new york post making fun of them, the muslim shorter people are incensed. rumor has it that some have called for them to riot and loot.
****THE ARABS ARE SEIZING CONTROL OF NEW YORK’S HARBOR….and folks here are not at all happy about it. george bush’s latest deal to let the united arab emirates run the docks almost approaches his deal in madness to his deal to let all the mexicans move to the united states. folks in black harlem know who carried most of the slaves to america. it was the arabs.
****OLD TIME RADIO (shows you might be too young to remember)…."lum & abner" was america as america was supposed to be. THE PAST ****THE GENERAL CUSTER MEDAL (given to one of our current military minds, not so bright) …. general michael v. hayden who is the boss of the national security agency. under his command, the best the agency seems to be able to do is to listen into teenage girls talking about having sex with their boy friends. how the nsa missed the attack on the world trade center will always remain a cover-up. NSA ****THE SNEAKY CAMERA (the hidden camera)….a growing collection of new yorkers are unaware that they are being watched by a certain taxi driver. new ones are added from time to time. take a peep at SNEAKY ****YENTA YACK FROM THE BACK OF THE HACK (what they are talking about in the yellow mobile conveyance lounge)….the man who ran naked into the united nations. the staff didn’t know what to do with him and just stood around looking at him until the new york city police arrived to take him away. they say it is international territory when they don’t need us, like for fires, police, and ambulances. ****QUIET PLEASE, THIS IS THE LIBRARY (get away from the din of life)…. attorney edward hayes writes about new york city and its legal system in “mouthpiece” published by broadway books. eddie does a good job in making you want to take a shower after reading the book, but do read it. ****THE STORY BEHIND THE STORY (what the media didn't tell you)....cnn made a report about how dangerous it is to have a pedicure. they neglected to mention that in new york city ninety five percent of the manicurists are korean women. new york ladies are smart enough to bring their own manicure sets to the shops, knowing that the most of the shops have filthy instruments. why they still go, is amazing. ****STAY INDOORS IF IT RAINS (keep dry)....the spanish harlem orchestra is a big band that is performing at the blue note 131 west third street. hispanics really have rhythm. UMBRELLA TIME ****THE EARL THEATER (it used to be on 161st street in the bronx. now it is here and this month's feature is "park avenue" which shows you how you are so poor because you don't live on this avenue with the rich people. PARK (please note: when playing a movie on your computer, you should diminish the size of the frame. if you have a problem, please contact us. **AND THAT NEAT MOVIE HOUSE ALWAYS SHOWED A DOUBLE FEATURE AND HERE WE ARE WITH A SECOND FLICK. this is a wonderful trip around new york city in the famous yellow mobile conveyance lounge. HONK HONK ****THE HEY ABBOTT AWARD (an epistle about life)....amy friedman is a doctor at yale university who thinks people should be able to sell their kidneys. poor people we guess. EPISTLE
****TAKE A HIKE (discovering where the famous and infamous spots are) …. ray bolger lived at 123 east 62nd street. RAY ****CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE BIZARRE (hard to believe)....a city bus in brooklyn crashed. 34 passengers were on the bus. 46 people showed up at the local hospital claiming to have been on the bus. they want to sue the city.
****POSSIBILITIES (could it not be?)....that jonathan a. duecker who is the assistant new york city police commissioner of counterterrorism knows something the rest of us new yorkers do not know. he keeps his family in pennsylvania. ****EAST SIDE, WEST SIDE. ALL AROUND THE TOWN. (a small vignette of the big apple)…. and they say you can not take it with you. not only can you take it with you, you can drive there.
****STOP THE MUSIC (do you know what tv show this theme came from?)….the audio on the television shows was better than the show most of the time. a hint is "a black man acting like a black man with a son trying to be groovy in a junkyard." TV ****AMMA'S KITCHEN (a recipe)….this is what you would find cooking in a nyc home)….there is nothing sour about this dessert. GOOD EATS ****JASON BLAIR AWARD (for the worst journalism during the previous week)….the daily news reported that a show dog worth thousands of dollars was missing from its cage at kennedy airport. the reporter said that the dog had somehow gotten loose. nonsense. if there is anything that can be stolen at that airport, it will be stolen. it was a botched attempt by either a baggage handler or a transportation security administration baggage checker.
