****TWO WARS ARE BETTER
THAN ONE…. some people die, some people make profits with u.s. army contracts. WAR
****THE GABBY CABBY FIELD OFFICE IN IRAQ (the largest staff of any media
office in the middle east)….this week's exclusive true tale is that the
iraqi children know no other way than war. the united states military tries
hard to deal with that, but children get attacked by terrorists if they
even talk to a soldier.
****CITY OFFICIALS TO
TELL YOU WHEN YOU CAN PEE AND WHEN YOU CAN NOT….first they are starting
with the kiddies in school. the new rule is that there are only certain
times that the child can go to the toilet or as we say in the big apple,
the terlet. sturdy bladders are going to be needed in this town.
****NEW YORK CITY
MUSLIMS DO NOT RIOT…or burn or loot. this is the largest muslim city in the
united states and they are proud to be new yorkers. some of them may not be
happy with a danish publication of some silly cartoons, but
they aren’t acting like a bunch of schmucks.
****POSSIBILITIES (what may be)….we may all die from the bus fumes caused
by idling. there actually is a $2,000 fine which is never enforced because
the bus companies know who to make political donations to. also, did you
know it is against the law for commercial vehicles like buses to go on
fifth avenue, yet the police look the other way when the buses do it?
****THE GIULIANI MYTH GETS
TARNISHED AGAIN….his best friend and business associate is under
investigation for having dealings with the mob. bernie kerik was the
corrections department commissioner and the police commissioner. don’t buy
a used car from him.
****TOURISTS! EAT FOR
NOTHING WHILST IN NEW YORK CITY….there are many places that hand out food.
no questions asked. this is a great deal better than having room service in
your hotel.
****SPEAK NEW YAWK (people will wonder at your sophistication)….”shlump” is a slob.

community in the united states that did not condemn the violence over some
silly danish cartoons.
****QUIET PLEASE, THIS
IS THE LIBRARY (get away from the din of life)…. “the inheritance of loss”
by kiran desai published by the atlantic monthly press. most interesting
are the passages about the “shadow class” of illegal immigrants in new york
city.
****THE STORY BEHIND
THE STORY (what the media didn't tell you)....to be counted as a viewer of
the super bowl, you had to have your tv set on for six minutes. so the
figure of 141 million people watching it is sort of misleading. can you
name who won it and where it was played.? then, name one commercial that
was shown on the program.
****STAY INDOORS IF IT
RAINS (keep dry)....a fascinating exhibit of tantric siddhas which are of
colorful characters who were instrumental in transmitting buddhism in india
at the rubin museum at 150 west 17th street. UMBRELLA TIME
****THE EARL THEATER
(it used to be on 161st street in the bronx. now it is here and this
month's feature is "park avenue" which shows you how you are so
poor because you don't live on this avenue with the rich people. PARK

shows was better than the show most of the time. a hint is "a black
man acting like a black man with a son trying to be groovy in a

(for the worst journalism during the previous week)….mayor bloomberg fired
a city employee because he had a computer game on his screen. the media
neglected to mention that bloomberg had been invited into the man’s office
by the man so he wasn’t hiding anything.
