****THE NEW YORK TIMES ANNOUNCED IN ITS PAGES WHERE JUST ABOUT ANYONE CAN GET THE 1918 INFLUENZA VIRUS THAT KILLED 50 MILLION PEOPLE….a scientist (jeffrey taubenberger at the centers for disease control in atlanta georgia sponsored an expedition for a scientist (johan hultin) to go to a town called "brevig mission" in alaska and dug up the bodies of people who had died from the illness back in 1918. thanks to the frozen ground they now have the virus at the cdc to play around with. who else is on the way to brevig mission now that the virus is out of the closet. HONK HONK ****THE HEY ABBOTT AWARD (an epistle about life)....two employees of the american broadcasting company get wounded in iraq and it is the biggest deal for the network. haven't they noticed that lots of people are getting wounded and killed in iraq? abc is a mickey mouse company. BROADCASTERS: PLEASE NOTE IF YOUR STATION IS AN ABC AFFILIATE YOU MIGHT NOT WANT TO DISCUSS THIS ON AIR. EPISTLE ****CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE BIZARRE (hard to believe)....someone paid $21 million for a portrait of george washington. no one knows who the someone is. ****POSSIBILITIES (could it not be?)....how could oprah not know that the book by james frey was a fake. we think she knew. ****STOP THE MUSIC (do you know what tv show this theme came from?)….the audio on the television shows was better than the show most of the time. a hint is "a black man acting like a black man with a son trying to be groovy in a junkyard." TV ****AMMA'S KITCHEN (a recipe)….this is what you would find cooking in a nyc home)….gaad, i love corned beef hash the way "she who must be obeyed makes it." GOOD EATS ****JASON BLAIR AWARD (for the worst journalism during the previous week)….to all the media for playing down the fact that it now turns out that donald trump got federal 911 grants. also, such companies as the rockefeller group and ford model agency. the money was supposed to go to small companies that were directly affected.
