****JASON BLAIR AWARD (for the worst journalism during the previous week)….the new york times lamented the death of one of its reporters who was murdered on the streets of washington dc by a mugger. sorry to hear of anyone's killing, but how about the hundreds of ordinary people who are murdered in that city each year
