****NEW YORK CITY SHOWCASE (DESIGNER LINE OF CLOTHING)….see it all at SWELL

****LATE BREAKING NEWS (updated daily)…. it is our blog which changes every day. this time you can click on TODAY but in the future, you can go to it directly each day at http://epistle.blogs.com/.

****TWO WARS ARE BETTER THAN ONE…. some people die, some people make profits with u.s. army contracts. WAR

****THE GABBY CABBY FIELD OFFICE IS OPEN IN IRAQ…. this week's exclusive true tale is that this place really has potential to be a beautiful resort if you can get the natives to stop blowing up themselves and the visitors. international hotel chains are already sizing up locations while united states military are getting killed.

****THE NEXT TIME YOU TAKE A RIDE IN A NYC TAXI CAB YOU CAN WONDER IF THE DRIVER IS A DOPE FIEND….that is because cab drivers are being notified that they have to take the annual drug test. drivers are given a two month warning which is really stupid, but then everyone on the taxi commission is pretty stupid.

****ARIEL SHARON HAS NOT BEEN THE MOST POPULAR PERSON WITH MANY PEOPLE IN NEW YORK CITY….the orthodox jews hate him because they don’t think there should be a state of israel. the conservative jews think he has given away too much to the arabs. the arabs hate him because he is their arch enemy. anyway you look at it, his death will not be mourned by everyone in the big apple.

****HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE FOR THE LADIES WHEN THEY HAVE TO GO TO THE TOILET….the law is now in effect that in all new establishments there must be twice as many crappers as there are in the mens. TOILETS

****SPEAK NEW YAWK (people will wonder at your sophistication)….“megila” is a long drawn out story.

****OLD TIME RADIO (shows you might be too young to remember)….this time it is a guy names fibber and his wife mollie. THE PAST

****THE GENERAL CUSTER MEDAL (given to one of our current military minds, not so bright) …. lt. col. thomas s. berg who dropped the charges against capt. christopher m. beiring who was accused in the beating to death of two prisoners in afghanistan. obviously the prisoners beat themselves to death. people like colonel berg and captain beiring really make it tough for recruiters to convince parents to endorse their children joining the united states army.

****THE SNEAKY CAMERA (the hidden camera)….a growing collection of new yorkers are unaware that they are being watched by a certain taxi driver. new ones are added from time to time. take a peep at SNEAKY

****YENTA YACK FROM THE BACK OF THE HACK (what they are talking about in the yellow mobile conveyance lounge)….the metropolitan museum has been accused by italy of having a number of their “looted” items. the question being discussed is did the met buy the items from a guy on canal street?

****THE WHITE FEATHER (given to the coward of the past week)....mayor bloomberg who let con edison, our electric company, raise its rates by 36 percent without a murmur. this means that at an average nyc taxi garage, the electricity will be $300 higher next month. for the average person it will be an increase of $26 per month which is going to be especially tough on people on fixed incomes. tenants use their electric heaters when the landlord does not provide enough heat.

****THE STORY BEHIND THE STORY (what the media didn't tell you)....two maybe more bird flu deaths in turkey have been reported. did anyone tell you that turkish airlines lands at kennedy airport and the only thing that is being checked is passenger baggage. maybe someone should check the turkish staff at their mission on 46th street near first avenue.

****THE EARL THEATER (it used to be on 161st street in the bronx. now it is here and this month's feature is "park avenue" which shows you how you are so poor because you don't live on this avenue with the rich people. PARK

(please note: when playing a movie on your computer, you should diminish the size of the frame. if you have a problem, please contact us.

**AND THAT NEAT MOVIE HOUSE ALWAYS SHOWED A DOUBLE FEATURE AND HERE WE ARE WITH A SECOND FLICK. this is a wonderful trip around new york city in the famous yellow mobile conveyance lounge. HONK HONK

****THE HEY ABBOTT AWARD (an epistle about life)....if you are looking to blame someone for the death of the miners in west virginia, look at gale norton. EPISTLE

****TAKE A HIKE (discovering where the famous and infamous spots are) ….manhattan’s highest income census tract is a six square block rectangle bounded by fifth and park avenue and east 56th street and 59th street. the median household income is $876,000.

****CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE BIZARRE (hard to believe)....you can actually buy your own bench in central park for $7500. but, you can’t sleep on it at night.

****POSSIBILITIES (could it not be?)....that new york city uses motor vehicle citations to raise money? last year the big apple gave out two million tickets at $115 a pop. united parcel service, fedex, the phone company, etc. all get tickets for trying to do their jobs.

****STOP THE MUSIC (do you know what tv show this theme came from?)….the audio on the television shows was better than the show most of the time. a hint is "it is a western family." TV

****JASON BLAIR AWARD (for the worst journalism during the previous week)….to cbs which bragged about the average price of $292 for a hotel room in new york city. it would have been nice if they had mentioned the millions of new yorkers who go to bed with inadequate heat in their apartments.

****THE MOST WANTED TOUR IN THE BIG APPLE…. here are some happy visitors. you too can have a tour by going to TOUR INFO

**to listen to what other happy tourists had to say about the tour, just go AUDIO
