****TWO WARS ARE BETTER THAN ONE…. some people die, some people make profits with u.s. army contracts. WAR ****THE GABBY CABBY FIELD OFFICE IN IRAQ…. this week's exclusive true tale is that we ask the question, “how would you like to do everything in a group day after day, hour after hour, knowing that back home it is holiday time?” before you have your holiday dinner, paste this picture up on your dining room wall.
****THE TRANSIT WORKERS UNION IS TERRIBLE PEOPLE….besides threatening day after day to bring the city to its knees; they don’t give a hoot about the thousands of handicapped people who will be unable to get around. this lady had tears in her eyes and didn’t want her face shown because she was so upset. the transit workers make on the average $75,000 a year for doing a job in which most are ill mannered and in a bad mood most of the time. new york’s public transportation system is already a hell thanks to these “workers.”
****WHAT IN THE WORLD DO THEY DO WITH ALL THE TREES ONCE XMAS IS OVER….we put them in the trunks of taxis and keep them for the next year? but, the true tale is that the sanitation department takes care of them and even puts them to future good use.
****SPEAK NEW YAWK (people will wonder at your sophistication)….”pushke” is where you put your charitable contribution this holiday season. only money accepted thank you. ****OLD TIME RADIO (shows you might be too young to remember)….this time it is a guy names fibber and his wife mollie. THE PAST ****THE GENERAL CUSTER MEDAL (given to one of our current military minds, not so bright) ….lt. gen. martin e. dempsey is the new commander of iraqi training. if he does as poorly as he did with his former command which was the first armored division you can really kiss this situation goodbye. he specializes in poor training, lack of equipment and pays no attention to the retention of good soldiers. ****THE SNEAKY CAMERA (the hidden camera)….a growing collection of new yorkers are unaware that they are being watched by a certain taxi driver. new ones are added from time to time. take a peep at SNEAKY ****YENTA YACK FROM THE BACK OF THE HACK (what they are talking about in the yellow mobile conveyance lounge)….folks on the way to the central park riding stables are angry that the cops of the central park precinct park their cars on the horse path. you have to see this arrogance to believe it. ****QUIET PLEASE, THIS IS THE LIBRARY (get away from the din of life)….a book called “740 Park” is the story of a new york city building which is supposedly the world’s richest apartment house. having picked up and delivered passengers to that building taxi drivers know that the occupants are not the best tippers which is why they have managed to stay so rich. the book is by michael gross and it’s published by broadway. ****THE STORY BEHIND THE STORY (what the media didn't tell you)....there was a feature article in the new york times which tried to stir up loving nostalgia for the old checker cab. well, obviously the guy who wrote the thing never drove a checker. it was crap to drive and crap to maintain. that is why the checker motor company went out of business.
****STAY INDOORS IF IT IS COLD (keep warm)....go to the trump tower at 56th street and fifth avenue which has loads of shops that will show you how poor you are. COLD ****THE EARL THEATER (it used to be on 161st street in the bronx. now it is here and this month's feature is "park avenue" which shows you how you are so poor because you don't live on this avenue with the rich people. PARK (please note: when playing a movie on your computer, you should diminish the size of the frame. if you have a problem, please contact us. **AND THAT NEAT MOVIE HOUSE ALWAYS SHOWED A DOUBLE FEATURE AND HERE WE ARE WITH A SECOND FLICK. this is a wonderful trip around new york city in the famous yellow mobile conveyance lounge. HONK HONK ****THE HEY ABBOTT AWARD (an epistle about life)....this senator russell feingold is a real creep. he plays politics with the lives of americans. he is terrified supposedly that george bush is listening in on his conversations with his two ex-wives. EPISTLE ****TAKE A HIKE (discovering where the famous and infamous spots are) …. 179 east 93rd streeet is where the marx brothers lived when they were kiddies. MARX ****CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE BIZARRE (hard to believe)....there are more than 3,000 chinese restaurants in new york. can you find one that does not have an illegal who doesn’t pay taxes and is deeply in debt for the trip from china to new york city? it is a horror from the middles ages.
****POSSIBILITIES (could it not be?)....the airlines are now saving money by not cleaning their toilets? there have been so many complaints about airplanes departing from new york city airports that the port authority of new york/new jersey is starting to inspect. ****STOP THE MUSIC (do you know what tv show this theme came from?)….the audio on the television shows was better than the show most of the time. a hint is "it is a western family." TV
