WAR ****WATCH WHERE YOU STAY IN NEW YORK CITY….the owners want to catch tenants who are running illegal bed and breakfast businesses. the landlord can legally throw the tourist out of the building when discovered. the tourist loses all the money they foolishly spent. video cameras are being hidden in the lobbies and the laundry rooms. ****THE QUESTION IS OFTEN ASKED, HOW COME THEY CAN SELL ALL THAT COUNTERFEIT STUFF ON WITHOUT GETTING ARRESTED?...cops are being investigated for possibly taking of bribes from the merchants. by the way, most of the merchants are illegal aliens and none of them pay any taxes. ****PHILOSOPHY FROM THE WORLD OF HACK (people will wonder at your sophistication)….the longest recorded flight of a chicken is thirteen seconds. ****OLD TIME RADIO (shows you might be too young to remember)….this month's broadcast is ozzie and harriet. THE PAST ****YENTA YACK FROM THE BACK OF THE HACK (what they are talking about in the yellow mobile conveyance lounge)….thousands of new yorkers thought they had won a contest in the daily news. ooops, it was a typographical mistake. big argument is whether or not the people should get some money from the newspaper or not. ****THE STORY BEHIND THE STORY (what the media didn't tell you)....there is a judge in new york city who specifically requests and gets most of the homicide trials and the conviction rate in his court is 97 per cent. somebody has let the united states supreme court know about this situation and hopefully they will act. the judge is robert hanophy who is 70 and should be put on a rocker in miami. thomas jefferson is turning over in his grave. ****THE EARL THEATER (it used to be on 161st street in the bronx. now it is here and this month's feature is popeye and his spinach.. EPISTLE ****TAKE A HIKE (discovering new york city)….mott street back in 1910. now, it is the largest chinese city in the world that is not in china. ****POSSIBILITIES (could it not be?)....the new york city police department is spending more than $900,000 a week on overtime which is being attributed to anti-terrorism. it is a racket. it is the biggest robbery in the city and it happens each week. ****AMMA'S KITCHEN (a recipe….this is what you would find cooking in a nyc home)….citrus chicken with broccoli. GOOD EATS ****JASON BLAIR AWARD (for the worst journalism during the previous week)….the story about taxi cabs being told that they can not have sexy advertisements on top of the vehicle. the cab driver gets nothing for the advertisements and has no say in what is put on top. ****GOING OUT (a different type of place to dine)….if you want some real chinese dumplings, you don’t have to go to chinatown. just visit the rickshaw dumpling bar at 61 west 23rd street for a delightful lunch. the thai peanut chicken dumpling was fantastic. ****THE MOST WANTED TOUR IN THE BIG APPLE…. you too can have a tour by going to TOUR INFO **to hear what happy tourists had to say about the tour, just go AUDIO **to see the tourists perform in short video productions go VIDEO ****CELEBRITY SIGHTING (media adulation)….katie couric who makes too much money.
